The Friends of the Theater supports the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts as a thriving destination for Hancock County residents and visitors.
Greenfield's downtown historic theater welcomes dozens of acts each year and draws tourists from across the state and farther. The H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts has been a focal point of the Main Street landscape since 1946, and you can help keep that legacy alive. Support the Friends of the Theater by becoming a member, volunteering your time and talents, or donating to our cause.

Christmas at the Ricks
The annual Christmas at the Ricks variety show showcases the wonderful talent in our community, with 100% of the proceeds funding projects to preserve the very theater that houses this tradition. This year, our concert fundraiser will feature local talent and cash prizes. Mark you calendar for December 7, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
Movies at the Ricks!
Our next campaign is coming soon! We plan to purchase a movie projector and new screen to show movies at the Theater. Stay tuned for details!
Have a Seat!
We have completed the 'Have a Seat' project by installing 390 new seats, many with cup holders and 100 with desk tops. We have also refinished the floor and installed new carpet in the aisles. You can still “buy” a seat and have a plaque with your name or the name of someone they are honoring placed on the seat. See more about Our Projects.
