Get Involved
The Friends of the Theater supports the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts as a thriving destination for Hancock County residents and visitors.
Greenfield's downtown historic theater welcomes dozens of acts each year and draws tourists from across the state and farther. The H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts has been a focal point of the Main Street landscape since 1946, and you can help keep that legacy alive. Support the Friends of the Theater by becoming a member, volunteering your time and talents, or donating to our cause.
Volunteer
Make an impact by giving your time at a building improvement project, serving as an usher, or making a donation toward administrative costs. Fill out the form below, or email us at info@hctheaterfriends.org, and we will contact you when an opportunity becomes available.

Volunteer Days
The facility at 122 W. Main St. requires constant upkeep. At least once a year, Friends of the Theater organizes a day dedicated to giving the Ricks a little TLC.

Christmas at the Ricks
The annual Christmas at the Ricks variety show showcases the wonderful talent in our community, with 100% of the proceeds funding projects to preserve the very theater that houses this tradition. This year, our concert fundraiser is took shape as a virtual talent show open to all ages and acts. Participants competed with holiday-themed videos to win cash prizes of $500, $250, or $100. Have a Seat!
We’re excited to announce our next capital campaign! FoT is raising funds to install 370 new seats in the auditorium. We have a quote for $250 per seat, which includes installation and a name plaque for those purchasing a seat. Fundraising is well underway, and we are excited to be applying for new grants this month. We welcome your support! Would you like to have your name on a seat? Or recognize someone with a seat in their honor? See more about Our Projects.
