The Friends of the Theater supports the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts as a thriving destination for Hancock County residents and visitors.
Greenfield's downtown historic theater welcomes dozens of acts each year and draws tourists from across the state and farther. The H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts has been a focal point of the Main Street landscape since 1946, and you can help keep that legacy alive. Support the Friends of the Theater by becoming a member, volunteering your time and talents, or donating to our cause.

The facility at 122 W. Main St. requires constant upkeep. At least once a year, Friends of the Theater organizes a day dedicated to giving the Ricks a little TLC.
Christmas at the Ricks
Christmas at the Ricks serves as the Friends’ top fundraiser. Held the first Saturday in December, this holiday variety show is a perfect way to kick off the season while supporting a good cause.
The Friends of the Theater’s first capital campaign is to refurbish the aging marquee that welcomes visitors to the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts and downtown Greenfield. The estimated $35,000 project will replace existing bulbs with energy-efficient LEDS as well as provide some much-needed cosmetic touch-ups. Want to help? Donate Now!
